Keitaro Urashima
is student who is desperately trying to pass the entrance exams at his
school, for the second to fourth time in a row. Through taking these
exams, he needs a place to stay for awhile. So, he turns to his
grandmother's lodge, the Hinata Inn. But to his surprise, it has
been turned into an all girls dormitory. But before I get into the
specifics about life in the Hinata Inn, I'll explain Keitaro's past.
Twenty some years ago, Keitaro befriended a pretty young girl.
Though they loved each other, the young girl was forced to part with young
Keitaro. Keitaro will never forget the moment when his young lover
unwillingly left him. Anyway, to his surprise, Keitaro's grandmother
temporarily makes Keitaro the inn manager because she is going out of
town.
Though the girls
are very mad at this, they stay anyway and begin to beat and aggravate
Keitaro especially a girl named Naru Narusegawa. But as the story
progresses, it is obvious to see that Keitaro and Naru grow closer.
The story love is
much like that of Ranma 1/2 or Tenchi Muyo in that the story is even more
affective to the audience if watched with more people. Love Hina
also has great animation for a TV series, not to mention the great comic
relief, and a happy ending like most anime shows should :D.
